About the designer... DaC
I initially made the balmora house mod for my mage character. Thus, to this day, the interior cell is still called "DC Mage House"... DC being my initials. But it wasn't long when I realized that I had created something cool here and I wanted to show everyone else. The coolest part of version 1.0 was the balcony. It was basically the best feature.
Having the balcony cut right on the side of the hill overlooking balmora seemed perfect. And I sorta rushed releasing 1.0 before I had the chance to really make the interior equally cool.
With 2.0, I totally changed the interior and made it a hell of lot better. I added a ton more furniture, objects, decorations, etc. Also I opted to use around 7 lights+tons of candles/lamps/lanterns to give the house a dynamic living feeling. Its extremely homey now and feels more like an house than a storage space. I also replaced the main room and made it bigger, vertically. Also i added another room to put the practice room and trap door to the balcony in. The trophy/treasure room has been added, and it looks awesome now. Lastly, I kept the 'open' design of the house, to keep it as simple and functional as possible. Well, anyway, not bad for my second mod.  --dac
